Wouter researched online comments in which Dutch people expressed their feelings about refugees entering The Netherlands. He collected the crudest hate comments, then he researched the haters. Although these people most often try to stay anonymous, they don’t always succeed in doing so. Wouter collected personal data on them, like their portrait or a photo’s of their dog. In the memory game the players don’t match identical images, but they match the hate comment to the photo of the hater. It’s revealing, provocative …and fun to play.
