CHOPSTICKS MADE FROM OCEAN PLASTIC

Graduation Project 2016, Branding

Sushi has quickly become one of the most popular dishes worldwide. The all-you-can-eat sushi restaurants are popping up all over the world. But what many people don’t realize is that the oceans where the fish comes from, are heavily contaminated with micro plastic. These particles are seen by fish as food, with the result that these plastic particles literally ‘swim’ up the food chain towards our plates.

For my graduation project I created these chopsticks completely out of ocean plastic. With this project I hope to reduce ocean plastic by making sushi lovers aware of this problem by eating sushi in style.
